Kuwait: Another bitter statement of the Safa-e-Hashim MP, who is hostile to immigrants, has been revealed

Safa al-Hashim proposes to expel foreigners over the age of 40

Kuwait (UrduPoint News - October 8, 2019) The Kuwaiti parliamentarian Safa al-Hashim looks very unhappy with the immigrants in his country. From time to time they are issued statements against immigrants, which are not only expressed by the migrants, but are also viewed by the world as a surprise. Now this time he has once again made a strange statement.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Safa-e-Hashim has proposed in parliament that expatriates over 40 years of age should be deported. Safa Al-Hashim said foreigners over 40 years old, especially those in the construction sector, should be terminated from their jobs and sent back home.
He also suggested that any foreigner who commits three traffic violations should be expelled from Kuwait.
In addition, older immigrants, the sick and foreigners with disabilities should also be expelled from Kuwait. Safa's suggestion was that Kuwait should be fined heavily if any local citizen, including foreigners living in Kuwait, whose privileges are terminated, gives them any facility. Safa was of the view that the Kuwaiti population has become a minority in their own country due to the large number of immigrants, which is adversely affecting their language and culture.
It should be noted that earlier, Safa al-Hashim had proposed to impose taxes on foreigners on the beach. Safa Al-Hashim had urged the government to charge the migrants fees for the use of public places and buildings. They have also demanded that the foreign minister transport taxes on Sheikh Jaber Kazwe, the fourth longest bridge in the world, recently built in Kuwait.
"I have been warned many times and still keep in mind that the number of foreigners in Kuwait is three million while the number of locals is more than 1 million," said Safa. Which is a burden to the infrastructure here. As these people visit parks and beaches during Eid holidays, a large amount of garbage is collected. Therefore, the fee should be applied to them. It should be noted that earlier, Safa Hashim was criticized for his statement saying that the tax should also be imposed on the breathing of immigrants.
